AK: Working in the Talkeetnas

Back in civilization after a month in the Talkeetna range in Alaska. How do you begin to sum up an experience like this? We walked over peaks, passes, and trails. Tundra, scree, talus, bush whacking. We saw moose, caribou, porcupines, and Dahl sheep. We crossed creeks and were turned back by the Chickaloon River. WA: Up Near Seattle

Ok Washington. We get it. You’re gorgeous. A few days here and I’m flying to Anchorage in the morning. Spent time in Issaquah, Bellevue, and Everett. Crashed at a few friends’ places. Chris learned not to play me in pool (dots are for losing). We also camped in his backyard! Next up: working a month long backpacking course for NOLS up in the Talkeetna Range.
